When God is ready to move, lookout. Mountains move.

September 14
It has been a week since I talked to my husband about Sarah. He has been actively hugging her and affirming her. Within a few days, I already noticed a difference in her. She is happier and hasn’t been anxious and unsettled all week. She is laughing more and isn’t so weighted down. I am so surprised at how quickly things have changed. God is so faithful.
She has not been to church since things got shut down. She has been staying home to watch church online. Saturday night she asked me what time I was leaving. She was up and ready to go before I was. Then the young adults had a bonfire tonight and Sarah went with her brothers. The last time I tried to encourage her to go out and join the young adults, it sent her into a tailspin. I felt so bad I told her I would never do that again. I wasn’t putting pressure on her to go, I was simply trying to understand why it caused her such anxiety. That day, I just hugged her and stayed with her until she felt a little better. I knew then I couldn’t help her talk this out. It was not in my power to fix this. I was going to have to wait on God. I was going to have to trust in God's timing. God has a plan. I can't rush God's plan or sidestep His plan. And until He reveals His plan I need to be patient. But, when God is ready to move, lookout. Mountains move.
