The Masterpiece of a Sunset

Gazing at the beauty in the night sky washes me with awe.

There is nothing like a beautiful sunset! It looks like a piece of art in the sky. I was driving home with my son and the sky was so beautiful. It almost looked like it was on fire. The clouds appeared to be almost like light gold, glowing vibrantly. I took a few pictures, but as pretty as they are, they do not do justice to the magnificence of the sky tonight. I can almost picture God painting the sky.

His painter’s palette in one hand, and a brush in the other, making a masterpiece. A little color here, a little color there. He starts with the blue sky and white clouds. Then He adds pink and red and some gold to make it all pop. He blends and swirls, pushing the colors all over His canvas of the night sky. Gazing at the beauty in the night sky washes me with awe. I only wish His masterpiece would hang in the sky a little longer. But the night sky will slowly fade it away...
