October 6
It was a crazy busy day. Because I hurt my hand, we are running a little behind. The project in the basement ended up being a lot more than we thought we were going to do, and everything takes longer than you think it will. I have been running all day, trying to get as much done as I can. I keep my hand wrapped in a nice pack and rotate between the three that I keep in the freezer so that I always have a cold one. The cold feels really good and helps to keep the swelling down, which helps with the pain. Having the pack wrapped around my hand also keeps me from using it. My husband and I worked really hard today and we got a lot done. We finally stopped at 11:00 pm. I'm going to bed feeling really proud of all that we have accomplished. It feels good to be getting closer to the end of this part of the project. But the best part was that in all the chaos and all the busyness even with broken fingers I had such peace all day today. I felt Jesus close to me all day. I don't know how to explain it but His presence was near, and that's where my peace came from. We had a few things that might have been a mishap and even in that, I was calm. It was like nothing could really raze me. I just know He's here and He has a plan and His plan is good. So Jesus thank you that I felt your presence all day today. Thank you for Your peace and Your comfort, but most of all, just thank you for Your presence.
