Struggle

It is always a struggle to grow. The less we fight against it and the more we surrender the easier the advancement.

Today is Sunday and again worship was amazing. Just such a sweet time worshiping my King and Savior. As I pressed in I felt God calling me to surrender even more deeply, to live a life with hands wide open. He was showing me some of the areas I need to surrender. I felt him calling me to study this concept in my quiet time. Living with our hands wide open means we accept both the good and the bad. The beautiful and the ugly. The successes and failures. He reminded me again that my idea of good and His idea of good is often very different. He wants what is best for me. He wants to grow and teach me. Real lasting growth seldom comes without struggle.
