A Gift

Nothing like a gift to bring a smile to my face and love in my heart.

God can always been seen at morning Grace. Thursday morning we gather for worship, prayer and studying God's word. God's love is so evident in so many of the ladies who come. I see God in the truth that is taught. The kindness that is shared. It is such a sweet time of fellowship. I love to be a blessing. It just fills my tank. If I was given the choice of being blessed or blessing someone. I would generally choose the latter. But every once in a while it feels really good to be on the receiving side. Today my friend Kari came up to me with a bag. She is so bubbly and full of life. She is effervescent! I just love her. She said I have a little gift for you. It's not my birthday so I was a little surprised. I looked in the bag and see a blue knit poncho top. Wow! Kari and her Husband are flight attendants. She had bought herself a cream one just like it on one of her trips to London. I had complimented her on it. I thought it was really cute. She had said when Chris went back she would see if he could get me one. I forgot all about it. So, when she showed up with this precious gift , I felt so loved!. Not forgotten. Kari was the heart of God today for me!
