Transforming Power

When we are in the middle of our story, it is easy to lose hope. But we need to remember that God’s not done.

Tonight we watched the movie I can only imagine. It is the story of Bart Millard, and Mercy Me. It is the story of how Bart wrote the song, I Can Only Imagine. In Bart's words, his father was a monster. But God was not done with Bart's dad. God transformed this angry wicked man into a man that Bart was proud of. Being reminded of God's mercy and transforming power was heart-warming. We can trust God with the people we love most. God desires only the best for you and those you love. His plans for us are exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all we could hope for, or even imagine. Through this simple movie, I was reminded again of God's transforming power. I was reminded to not grow weary, to not lose hope.
