Drive-In Worship. What a perfect way to spend Pentecost Sunday

May 31

The church still isn’t open, but we have a drive-in worship service tonight. No one in my family seemed to want to go and I really didn’t want to go alone and sit in a car alone for worship. Then my son Brandon asked if I was going. We got in the car and went together. God provided my son so I could be blessed with a night of worship. We got there a little late, so we were a couple of rows back in the parking lot. Brandon knows I like the front row so I can see. He opened up the sunroof and told me to stand up so I could have a better view. I stood the whole time singing in worship. I said hi to a few friends. I had a perfect view, but mostly I worshiped. Last night at our house during our life group gathering we only sang one song together. It was sweet, but simply not enough to satisfy a starving soul. It has been too long since we have had rich corporate worship. That is what I had tonight. Thank you Father for such a rich evening.
