Gathering of Friends

It felt so long overdue. We were all hungry for fellowship and praise.

I love hosting Life Group at our house. Especially when we have a time of prayer and worship. It was the first time we have all been together since COVID-19. Almost everyone was able to make it. My son-in-law offered to come and cook all the food on the grill. Delicious! We had grilled chicken and hamburgers. Michael and I provided the meat while everyone else brought sides to go with this meal we will share together. It was so wonderful to be reunited. We prayed for several people who need healing. We prayed for a movement of the Holy Spirit in our country and in our lives. We prayed prayers of thanksgiving. Everyone just wanted more of God. I felt prompted to go up on the catwalk and look down on my friends praying. It was such a wonderful sight. I saw God move. I stood there for a few minutes and asked for the Holy Spirit to rain down on my friends. I stood in prayer and worship for a few moments before heading back down the stairs. Then someone started to sing a worship song and we all joined in. Corporate prayer and worship filled the room with the power and love of our Lord. I am so grateful to have been blessed tonight with fellowship, prayer and worship. I finished the day and went to bed, I felt restored.
