My Friends Prayed & I Slept

Last night was our life group, and I was so looking forward to going. But, by early afternoon, I realized I was simply too tired, and my hand hurt too much to go. The pain in my hand has been affecting my sleep, which is part of the reason that by the middle of the day I'm so exhausted. Add to that, driving in the car causes the nerve pain to intensify and I had already been in the car earlier that day. I knew I just couldn’t spend any more time driving. So, I let everyone know that I was staying at home. I was really disappointed, but knew I needed to listen to my body.

Today my friend Cindy called to check up on me. She only found out last night that I had injured my hand. Cindy told me that they prayed for me last night. God answered their prayers. Last night, for the first night in quite some time, I slept through the whole night. And it was blissfully wonderful. It is such a blessing to have a group of friends that lift you up in prayer and bring your needs before the Father. I am so grateful for such a wonderful group of friends that care. I am also grateful, thankful and blessed to have had such a restful night sleep. My friends prayed and I slept. Thank you Jesus.
