October 22

I had to make a quick Walmart run last night for my husband. I asked my daughter if she wanted anything while I was there. She said ice cream. So, off I went. We have two Walmarts close by, one is to the south and one is to the north. They are both about 10 minutes away. But the one to the north, milage wise, is actually a little bit farther. When I left the house I was intending to go to the Walmart that's a little closer. But as I was driving I realized it would be better if I went to Lowe's which is right across the street from the Walmart to the north of us. I would probably have a better chance of finding what I needed for my husband there. So I ran into Lowe's and got what I needed and headed across the street to Walmart. A few minutes after I got into Walmart, my daughter called and asked me if I was in Walmart and I told her yes, I was about to pick up her ice cream. She asked me which Walmart I was at because she had just gotten an alert from Next Door that there was a woman waving a gun around at the Walmart I was supposed to be at. It was only a last-minute decision for me not to go to that Walmart. I believe it was the Holy Spirit directing me. The furniture gliders I picked up at Lowe's, I know I could have easily picked up at Walmart. I am so thankful that I was not there. I'm so thankful I didn't witness it and, I came home safe. Thankfully, my daughter didn't have to worry about her mama's safety. Thank you, Jesus, for last-minute direction.
