Sometimes the prayers we pray, take time, but when they are answered in a way that is even sweeter than you thought possible, it reminds you that God’s ways are not our ways.

January 17

Today I picked up my son-in-law's parents and grandparents at the airport. I had both my grandchildren with me. The flight was delayed, but patiently, the kids waited happily and excited for the plane to land. This may seem like nothing worth noting, but it is truly amazing. These parents and grandparents are the same people that just a few years ago wouldn't even speak to me, never mind come to my house. They caused a huge division between our family and theirs. Now they greet me like an old friend. I didn’t just pick them up and drop them off, we all came back to my house because that's where the grandbabies wanted to go. We hung around and chatted until my son-in-law got off work and came to my house. Then we all went out to dinner together, and they paid. Every time I am with them, I am thankful for the miracle that God has made. He has healed relationships. God has done more than I could have imagined, exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all that I could have hoped for or even imagined. And I am so grateful!
