We had a chance to just talk and connect. I think we are all hungry for that.

We had a zoom meeting tonight. After we had the main meeting and went over all the information we needed to, we broke off into small groups. We were told to repent of whatever the Lord brought to mind and then pray a prayer of blessing over each other. I think we were only meant to spend a few minutes doing this. Really, five minutes per person should have been plenty of time. We spent almost as much time in our small group as we did with everyone. It was just three of us and we had a chance to just talk and connect. I think we are all hungry for that. We are all missing each other and the caring and kindness we are used to sharing. We have such a wonderful church. Our Women's Ministry is outstanding. We all love and support each other and we are all missing that connection. No one seemed in a hurry to leave. We encouraged each other, we prayed for each other. We blessed each other. We all said the same thing; getting together on zoom isn't the same as in person, but it is better than nothing. I am so thankful for Zoom. It will never be my first choice in communication and connection, but life would have been so much worse during this time without it. Even during this time of social distancing God is finding a way for us to be a church family and encourage each other.
