Remember, I will be with you always, I will always love you and I will never leave you. I will always be your Abba

May 13

Remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Once my mind and spirit settled into this time of prayer today, I could sense Jesus with me. It was like He was playing with me. Leaning over my shoulder from behind and whispering, I am with you always, like it was a game of Hide and Seek. He was being super playful. Over and over again saying, I am with you always, first in one ear and then the next. He was obviously enjoying this little game, and so was I. It was like a game of Hide and Seek only He wasn't hiding. He wanted me to find Him. He was seeking me and wanted me to find Him in the laughter. I realize I need more laughter in my life. I need to not be so serious, so much of the time. I need more fun. Later when I said Abba, father, You are always with me, then I cried. With my earthy father, I had to grow up, cut the apron strings, and leave. Growing up with an older brother who brought constant turmoil into our lives, I felt a little abandoned. I was the good girl who didn't cause problems and didn't seem to need anything. I have wonderful parents who love me; they were just overwhelmed with an extremely defiant and troubled son. And, it simply left a small wounded place in my heart for the enemy to plant a seed of doubt. You are on your own. But, that is a lie! My heavenly Father will never leave me. I am never on my own. He has always been with me, to guide me, and teach me, and protect me. I will be with you always, I will always love you and I will never leave you. I will always be your Abba, Your Daddy.
