It really is the thought that counts.

February 18

I see God working in my husband as he road all over town looking for a chair to go in my sun-room. It was not long ago that something like this would have never happened. I had seen this really beautiful chair at HomeGoods the other day and I took a picture of it. I thought: I know I can't have it but, I have a friend whose home it would look lovely in. When my husband saw the picture he said if you can find two of them you should get them. That in itself was so generous. I didn't even dream of asking for them. For him to spend the evening driving around to look for a piece of furniture was amazing. He was patient, and kind, and went beyond the call of duty. It was a selfless act of love. And I really enjoyed the time with Him. We never did find the chairs, but I felt loved and we had a marvelous evening together.
