Resting In His Presence

When I rest and get out of the way, God is at work, always.

Even though I had a migraine, and spent most of the day in bed, I spent it in fellowship with God. I sang the doxology in my head. I prayed the 23rd Psalm and meditated on each line. I'm not sure why I had to lose the whole day, but It was a sweet time spent with my Creator. I can push through a bad headache, but a migraine affects my vision, my hearing, and my balance and my stomach. A migraine takes me out. I can't sleep, but I can't do anything else either. I just lie there, with a mask on in a dark room trying to block everything out. Today I was able to worship and just be with God. When I finally was able to get out of bed I saw that my husband Michael was doing his cleansing stream homework and had read 12 chapters of The Bait of Satan. God is at work.
