The Dead come Back to Life

God can bring what appears to be dead, back to life.

As I watch my garden come to life, I see God. My tulips, hyacinths, and so many more are starting to spring to life. All these flowers died last year and all that was left was a bulb lying dormant beneath the surface. Summer came and went, then came fall and winter. Spring has come early this year and life seems to appear from nothing. I love to watch the little bits of green start to emerge out of the ground. A little bulb that appeared to be dead all this time coming back to life. We take it for granted because it happens each year. We miss the miraculous because it always happens. For me, it brings such joy, I can't help but smile. I feel like a little kid delighting in the miraculous. It reminds me that God can bring life to things that appear to be dead.
