We were made to live in community and some days we feel that need greater than others. Today was one of those days. Today, I was truly blessed to spend some time with a friend. As we talked we both saw life more clearly. We trusted God more freely. The troubles didn't disappear, but they had less weight. Somehow, as we talk, God is able to reveal truth into any given situation that we may face. Because I am not in the midst of her storm I can see things she cannot. The same goes for her; she is not in the midst of my storm. By the end of our time together God had revealed so much and we both had joy restored, and a plan to move forward. Thank God for sisters in Christ, and sweet life-giving conversations with a friend.
