Set the Captives Free

Jesus shines His light, and truth is revealed, and the darkness flees.

Today was a little piece of heaven. We didn't get enough sleep because of daylight savings time, but it didn't matter. The lesson in Cleansing Stream was on strongholds, and Kathy did an amazing job teaching. All the ladies in our group were touched by God today. They started to see the lies they had believed. They started to see the truth of who they are in Christ. Jesus is the light of the world and when he shines His light, the darkness flees. Strongholds are built on lies we have believed; lies about ourselves, lies about our past, lies about our future. There are so many lies that have done so much damage and they hide in the dark, growing and digging in deep. Then Jesus shines His light and truth is revealed and the darkness flees. The Truth shall set you free. Jesus is the truth and the light. Jesus came to set the captives free and He allowed me to see.
