Prepare the Way for the Lord

A few nights ago, everyone went to bed, but I felt a calling to just spend some time in prayer before I settled down for the night. As I was praying a wave of emotion swept over me. I felt like I wanted to cry, but I wasn't sad. I asked God what is this and He told me to write. So I pulled out my journal and put pen to paper. I wasn't sure what to do with it other than to pray for what God told me to pray for and write what He told me to write. I would leave the results up to God. Today as I spoke to a trusted friend, she confirmed that she had received a similar message. This is what I sensed He was saying.

Prepare the way for the Lord. Pray for hearts to be softened and ready to receive. A fresh and mighty outpouring of His Spirit is coming. The enemy has plans for this Coronavirus and it is to strike fear into us and destroy us. But God also has a plan. What the enemy wants to use to harm us, God will use to heal us. Revival is coming. The fields are ripe. The people are needy. Do not be afraid. God is getting ready to birth something new. No longer will you play it safe. My people who are called by my name will no longer stand in the shadows. We are going to break free of the chains that bind us, chains of fear, unforgiveness, lies we have believed and so much more so that we can worship our Savior with abandon. We will join God in His plans, with great faith and excitement. Angels are at the ready to do battle on our behalf. Our Good shepherd is dividing the sheep from the goats. Whom shall you fear? Pray for the people to be ready to receive all God has for them.
