When we really trust that, and things seem to go wrong, it is easier to simply see what His new plan is and join Him.

A few of my friends help me to plan and decorate the tables for our women's events. Since I have been doing this a little while now, I decided to repurpose what we had used last year. I was going to take some of those same elements and do something new. A little over a week before our evening gathering, I went up into the closet to get the large felt hearts I was planning to use. I couldn't find any of them. So I called my friend Kathy who works at the church to see if she knew where they had gone to. Last year at least 5 different ministries had used what I created, so we thought hopefully we can find them. Sadly we could not, and we had to go back to the drawing board and start all over. Back up to the storage closet, I went. We found these beautiful flower balls, some red and some white. I was able to order a few more with prime two-day shipping. My friend had a few more that we added to the mix. I had a few things, my friend had a few things, and wallah! It was going to be beautiful. Then Joy called to tell me that we had so many women signed up, we would need to add more tables. More tables than we ever plan for! But God knew. Because we had to re-plan our centerpiece, it was no problem to expand. We already had more than enough. If we had gone with my original idea, we would have been in a bind, because there were no more felt hearts left in any of the stores. It would have been stressful, but God had us switch out our plans early, so we just smiled at His provision.
