A dear friend came over today to hang out. We had not really spent any time together since before Christmas. I had really missed her, but life has been a little busy. We had such a good conversation and we did a little art. what a great way to spend the day; God, Friends, creating pretty things. My favorite things all came together in one beautiful day. I had been feeling a little anxious with too much to do and not enough time. I had not been checking things off my to-do list as fast I wanted, and then things would be added to the list. But today none of that mattered. Today was a little oasis. As we spent time listening to each other and encouraging each other, we both finished our time together lighter and more at peace. God had been with us, and revealed Himself and truth, to each of us.
