In the Waiting

As we are waiting, it may feel like we are just on hold. Nothing to do but wait. But God is at work in the waiting and we need to join Him.

I have noticed that there are some places that I regularly see God. One is always in my quiet time. As I read His word, study, and pray, He is always there. I have learned that when God reveals Truth to me, I have just encountered God. I may not have seen Him with my eyes, but I have experienced His presence. What I really believe about God will determine what I actually do. It is one thing to believe the miraculous stories in the bible actually happened. It is a whole new level of belief to believe God will do the same in my life. I am not sure what is going to happen when I am done homeschooling my grand-babies. I'm not sure what direction I will take. I feel like I am in a holding pattern. Waiting for God's direction. So, in the waiting, I choose to believe. In the waiting, I know He is growing my character to meet the assignment. In the waiting, He is preparing a way. In the waiting, I am learning to trust more.
