Nothing draws me closer and faster to the heart Of God than worship

March 5
Have you ever had an amazing time of worship? A time where everything in you is singing to your heavenly Father and you feel Him so near you you can almost feel His breath. That was today. At Morning Grace this morning we heard a young woman's precious testimony that touched every woman there. It was a beautiful story of God's unending pursuit and love for her and us. Her story prepared my heart for worship. Then we sang Raise a hallelujah by Bethel. As we sang God touched my heart with just some of what He has done and is still doing in my life. So each line of this song was the cry of my heart. Tears ran down my face, I was filled with joy and awe. I have watched the darkness flee. I have seen beauty from ashes. I worshiped in the middle of the storm, my weapon was praise, and Heaven fought for me. I will raise a hallelujah! My King is alive and He met with me.
I raise a hallelujah, in the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah, louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah, my weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah, heaven comes to fight for me
I'm gonna sing, in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes, hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive!
I raise a hallelujah, with everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah, I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah, in the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah, fear you lost your hold on me!
