It is one thing to read in the Bible How God multiplied fish and bread to feed the masses. It is really wondrous when he multiplies for you.

February 14

Today we set up for the wedding of a sweet young couple. The bride wanted succulents for her table centerpieces. months ago I did a mock centerpiece and ordered the fake succulents. She agreed to split the price with our church and then donate them back to us to use in our women's ministry. At the start of each session of bible studies, we have a brunch, and I help to decorate the tables so, to have these beautiful succulent added to our selection is wonderful. We ordered the succulents in time for our fall brunch. I always plan for 30 tables, but we usually set a few fewer tables than that. In September we used all the succulents we had on about 28 tables. It was lovely. As we talked to the bride and the facility where she was having the wedding and reception, it appeared we would have fewer tables than I used in September, at the women's brunch. A week before the wedding I get the floor plans for the tables... 35 tables! I don't know how God does it, but he multiplied our supply and we had enough for each table. But that wasn't all. We had enough to put them on the table with the wedding cake, the memory table with the pictures of loved ones who had passed, the guest book signing table, the table with the unity heart lock, on top of the baby grand piano, and last but not least where she displayed the garter and bouquet that she and her husband caught last year at her sister’s wedding. And I thought we might not have enough. The Great Multiplier, my God is enough!
