Good Friends

God breathed life into my life today as I talked to a good friend.

Thank you, God, for good friends. A dear friend called me today. With this stay at home order, we are all missing each other. We are all feeling a bit isolated and alone. We don't run into each other at church on Sunday, or Wednesday night, or for our Thursday morning bible studies. I can't run over to help someone with a project. You forget how powerful a smile or a hug can be. I miss singing worship together. All those moments of connection lift us up. I am a better person because of the time I spend with my friends. So today when we talked, and boy did we talk! We both felt encouraged and revived. I am blessed to have good friends who love God and we point each other back to Him. We finished our time together praying for our families and the world affected by this Coronavirus. God knew exactly what we both needed. He breathed life into both of us through a simple phone conversation.
