Friends

The fellowship of good friends and the joy of completing a project is such a gift.

My friend Kathy came over today to work on some decorations for her niece’s wedding this weekend. She had asked me several months ago if I could help her with the centerpieces and decorations and we are wrapping things up for the wedding this weekend. It was such a sweet time of fellowship. Having an extra set of hands made things easier. As we worked and talked I remembered reading in Hosea 11:4 how God takes care of us. So often His love for us is shown by the love and care of others. Today God's love was evident between my friend and me.

I led them with cords of human kindness,

With ties of love;

I lifted the yoke from their neck

And bent down to feed them
