Should she stay or should she go

March 13
This week the borders of different counties are closing due to the Coronavirus. The President is closing the US borders on Friday. Any US citizen coming back into the country after Friday will have to go through specified cities and screening before being allowed to enter. I have been talking to Sarah about what she should do. She has a ticket to fly home the beginning of April, after her YWAM program is over. Should she come home early, or just wait and use the ticket she has. I hate to see her lose the last two weeks of lectures and activities, but we don't know what is going to happen in the next few weeks. I talked to Sarah in the middle of the night last night. She was looking to see if there was even a possibility of getting a last-minute ticket before Friday. So many moving pieces, so much unknown. So before we got off the phone, we prayed. Sarah and I asked God for clarity. We asked Him to make it clear to us what direction we show go. Stay and finish the program, or cancel her ticket and get a new one to come home early. Later in the morning I met with Pastor Michelle to give her something I had made for her to use at a women's conference she was speaking at. On the way to meet her, I was praying and intended to ask Michelle what she thought. I have such respect for her and trust her insight. But we had started to talk and had such a sweet conversation that I forgot to ask her about Sarah. Just as I was about to get into my car, Michelle turned and asked me about Sarah. As I told her all the details, she looked at me and said... She needs to come home. It was the confirmation we needed. God spoke, and we listened.
