Corona-virus could cancel our church form meeting, but it couldn't stop our service.

March 15
We had Church at home today, sitting on our back patio, watching on the computer. I think this is going to be a new normal for a while.
We got up Sunday morning and instead of getting dressed and going to church, we turned on the computer. We made coffee for my husband and tea for me. We didn't even bother getting dressed. The weather was beautiful, so we took the computer out on the back deck and watched our Pastor give his message to an empty church building. The worship music this morning was wonderful. I missed singing with all my fellow believers, but I was still able to worship, I was still able to hear a great message. It was a simple sweet morning. No rush to get somewhere. Just sitting on our back deck, birds chirping, trees rustling and the sun shining. If I could have had all my friends with me, it would be perfect.
But as I was listening to the message it occurred to me that people all over are doing what we are doing. We can't go to the church, so the church came to us over the internet. Things looked different this Sunday morning, but that didn't stop God. We all gathered in our individual homes to worship our King and it was beautiful! I can't say I would want it to stay this way, but it was a beautiful day. When you worship, He will come. God doesn't need a building, He needs willing hearts. Corona-virus could cancel our church form meeting, but it couldn't stop our service.
