Creativity and spiritual growth are born in stillness, who knows what wonderful things will come from us being still for a while.

March 16
Sarah came home today. I picked her up at the airport, we disinfected her bags, she got in the car and we drove home. God brought her home safe. Tomorrow will be our first full day of quarantine. For two weeks all outside events are canceled. It feels like a gift. A gift of time. A gift of uninterrupted time. Time to marinate in God's word. Time to spend with my daughter and my husband. The business of life held at bay for a precious two weeks. We are all stocked up on food and supplies. My oldest daughter has offered to pick up groceries if we need anything. Creativity and spiritual growth are born in stillness, who knows what wonderful things will come from us being still for a while.
