Driving by the lake after church today and seeing the water glisten in the beautiful sunlight I smiled. I love the water. I love how it ripples and bounces the light off of its surface. I love how vast it looks. The sun was shining. The sky was clear and blue. Peace and happiness washed all over me. God brought me here to this place I love. For many years we would drive by this lake on our way to visit my parents. On the long drive from Florida to Canada, we would pass this lake. It would take us two days in the car with all the kids. And every time we would pass this lake I would say, Could you imagine living here? It wasn't until after we moved that I realized this is that very same lake. So, when I see the lake, I see God and his amazing artistry. The lake is just beautiful, but I also see His faithfulness and generosity. I never had the courage to ask Him to move here. He just did it anyway.
