Some things will remain the same, some things will need to change.

With all my children back home, it has been a bit overwhelming at times. We were quarantined before everyone else was told to stay at home. Everyone in my family has had losses and stresses that are new because of this virus. Two children having to leave wonderful programs early. Two children trying to finish this semester of college online, a senior recital canceled, a final opera performance canceled. One child struggling with the isolation of being at home, missing the community she left, and not being able to build one here yet. My husband is a financial adviser trying to protect his clients in a crazy market. My natural bent is to try to help everyone fix everything. That is impossible! So, I am trying to find a new normal. A new plan in the midst of the storm. Some things will remain the same. Read my bible every morning and pray. Pray my Ephesians prayer, pray my prayer of surrender, pray for revival. I feel God telling me to stop reading what other people have written and write. Listen to what He is saying. Write my Blog first thing in the morning, then write the other things God is revealing. I hear God when I write. I think it is because I have to be still. I am actively listening to hear what He wants to share with me and when I am done I feel at peace and balanced and restored. I am never disappointed, He always meets me.
