Several months ago I told my daughter that I believed her daughter, my grand-daughter had a stronghold of rejection. I spent some time explaining what that meant and why I believed my grand-daughter was struggling. I told her how we could break it and what we should pray. I know she was a little skeptical. But, she agreed that it wouldn't hurt to try. So we did. It was really simple and nothing dramatic. Honestly, until she mentioned it I had forgotten about it. Today as she was driving to school, God reminded her of that simple prayer and that her daughter is so much better. She is more settled, more affectionate, and not worried about people not liking her or spending time with her. God answered my daughters prayer and the spirit of rejection is gone. It is such a marked difference that several family members visiting from out of town for the holidays even noticed. They had told me that she was so much more settled. My oldest daughter was so touched that God reminded her of this and not me. She was also grateful that he answered her prayers even in her doubt. God is building her faith and teaching her how to hear Him, and she is loving it. So am I! God didn’t just do a work in my grand-daughter, He is building the faith of my daughter.
